As Executive Director of the Brower Center from 2015 – 2022, Laurie championed the Art/Act: Youth exhibition program. Based on it’s success she co-founded the Art/Act: Educate project with Kimberley D’Adamo Green in 2021. Though she moved to Hilo, HI in April 2022, she remains committed to the mission of the Brower Center and continues to serve as Executive Advisor offering guidance and support. Laurie currently is the Director of Events & External Relations for Children & Nature Network. She believes strongly in the power of art and nature to inspire real progress towards environmental justice.
